Wanted: Mixte

I need a mixte, preferably a full bike, for my girlfriend.
I am more interested in a better quality touring frame, ideally with 531 tubing, campag, shimano or equal drivetrain, braze ons and all the rest. The dream is an old whitcomb, claud, etc.
But anything will be considered. She is 5'7'' so anything around 54cm/21-23inches ideal.
She has a penchant for brazed-on racks integrated into the frame....
Will collect and pay in cash.

Isn't this sorta thing like impossible to find? - I've been looking for a full bike for my girlfriend for ages, but nothing useful ever comes up.

they are out there, but not cheap. what is your budget?

That Moser was fantastic, but a bit out of my range, which goes to £400 including shipping to the other side of the North Sea plus modifications.
Modifications would include adding a porteur rack and mudguards.

This is a classic example of what I have in mind:

kvik, that is exactly the kind of thing I want to build up.

I know that they're expensive, but I think that moser is a bit over priced imo. We've been looking on the bay and it looks like £250+ for old raleigh clubmans etc is norm.
Don't mind spending around that much, happy to do work, just mainly want a good frame for us to build on, so we can cycle berlin-budapest this summer.

I've got this Dawes in original condition, it's not 531, but remarkably light.

Measures 53 c/t seat and 54 c/c top with 127mm rear spacing.

I can bring to London on a Sunday in say a couple of weeks, or postage is possible.

I'm sure I can trust you not to take advantage of a newbie on here ;-))
Come back with a decent offer and it's yours as I don't have any plans for it in the short term.
