Politicians are self-serving career people who will tell voters what they think voters want to hear when they're not in power. And then change their minds depending on what they think will serve them, and their career, best when they are in power.
Does anyone disagree with this statement, if so why, and can give examples of politicians who genuinely are not like this?
Serious question btw, as I truly believe the opening para as cynical as it may be and am searching for reasons to vote in the future...
