Some trials bikes have the freewheel mechanism in the cranks/bottom bracket do they not?
Good call, but the screw on hubs have no lockring threads, the assumption being that since there is a freewheel at the crank there is no back pressure to need a lockring. But, Echo do a fixed splined disc trials hub. It's only in 32h, it only takes Echo proprietary splined sprockets, and a hub with sprocket is about £110, but it's a plug and play solution at way under the cost of a Phil if you can work within it's limitations. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/135mm_fixed_hubs/echo_sl_disc_rear/c21p11368.html
