Ok so heres the deal... last night my girlfriend had a few of us over for dinner at her new place with her new flatmates. She was supposed to receive a tesco delivery that never turned up so we ended up ordering a curry. Which was rather tasty.
When we cleaned up we noticed there were some stains on the table (light wood varnished ikea jobby). These stains are impossible to remove! we have tried loads of stuff and they aren't budging. She feels really bad cos she only just moved in and has now stained the table.
Does anyone know how to get turmeric stains out of such a surface.
tried so far
Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner
Flash all purpose
washing up liquid
bicarbonate of soda
baking powder
white wine
Gonna try bleach tonight but don't want to ruin the surface.
