Constitutionally Her Maj would be in charge ready to appoint "Her" next government. She is head of State. Even now, nothing becomes law without she signs the act making it so. After a general election, she calls upon the leader of the majority party to become Her next Prime Minister (and First Lord of The Admiralty).
