    Liam and I think that there's no way that radial lacing is as strong laterally as 2 or 3 cross. I played on a radially laced rim when I started and some spokes pulled out of the hub, deforming the spoke holes or outright breaking them. When the spokes cross they spread the load out amongst themselves much better than radially and so could take knocks and general polo behaviour better.

    Also, remember those Chukkers are gonna be damn heavy, but probably pretty much indestrucible in the 48h flavour! Those sets on the page are fixed/fixed too, buy the rims and Liam will build them with hubs of your choice too...
