Referendum on AV

As far as I can see the only two reasons not to have AV are;

1) The BNP will be elected in parliament; and
2) Nothing will get done due to to indecision.

As Oliver said earlier, I don't think inaction/deadlock is that much of a problem in a stable country. Plus imo the difference between the parties is so small, I can't see that it makes that much difference.

As for the BNP... it is what it is. If northerns are all a bunch of bigots, let their view be represented.

Those 2 "facts" aren't actually facts - they've been made up.
