I think the idea that the timing of the attack was determined by a significant public event in the UK amounts to endorsing a kind of conspiracy theory.
I do not think military operations are necessarily conspiracies.
To be a conspiracy it would at least require that the US were talking to - conspiring with - the UK about the timing of the event. This was not my claim. My claim was that the timing of the attack might have been influenced by, amongst other things, due consideration of the risk the operation would create for subsequent major public events being held by the 'allies' of the US.
