Cheers, it is very pretty, I fell in love with it the moment I laid eyes on it. Got 11 bikes at home now though (not including the three I've given to my folks to look after for me!) and some simply have to go. Tough decision to decide which ones get that honour. I'm keeping all the fixed gears but potentially some more Colnago, De Rosa and Basso road bikes to go too.

SOLD
What we have for sale here is a Rare and Stunning Colnago Team Wordperfect replica with a full Suntour group-set. The Colnago was ridden by the Dutch Wordperfect team from the early nineties. They only sponsored the team for 1 year and after that the sponsoring was taken over by Rabobank. Originally purchased from Tour de Ville before they shut their doors, the story of this bike as spun by Jos was that this bike was a gift to the wife of the Dutch Wordperfect CEO from the team at the time they were sponsoring the team. I've got a soft spot for both Colnago and Suntour components and have a few bikes so equipped and when I saw this I had to have it. It looks as it does in the original Tour de Ville images I'm attaching, was only ridden twice, home from the store and at the Tweed Run last year. Other than that it's kept inside on display in my sitting room so I can admire it.
The vital statistics:
Colnago Size is 54cm
Suntour Radius Groupset
Suntour hubs laced to Mavic rims? (can't remember for sure but can check)
Vittoria Zaffiro Pro white tyres
San Marco Rolls saddle
Timec seatpost
3T Status quill stem
3T bars
I paid £795 and would like to recoup my investment but serious offers will be considered. Obviously a donation will be made to the forum after the sale.
I've actually typed this post or at least a similar version a few times over the last few weeks but couldn't click submit. It's killing me to even contemplate selling this bike but I'm getting married in the near future and I need to reduce my collection of bikes to just those I ride regularly, not to mention that the cash would be useful too. I want this to go to a good home and I won't split so please don't ask. I'm willing to post, I'm based in Oxford, and don't have a car but can deliver within reason to railway accessible places like London, Reading, Birmingham... Any questions you may have, more pics etc. just ask and I'll see what I can do. Thanks.
