• The worst part is about 15 seconds in. I feel like I've given all I've got at that point and my legs are begging me "slow down and get in a harder gear!". You feel you could put more work in if you could just gear up and push through with brute force, but sadly for you, you must keep breathing deeply and concentrate on spinning as smooth and quickly as possible... easier said than done. You could be the fastest rider in the street or the world road racing champion and still suck at this brutal 500m test...
