My wife spilled a whole glass of wine on her laptop night before last whilst it was running and it looked fucked, wouldn't boot seemed FUBAR.
I managed to strip it down, hoik out the HDD and CDROM and flushed it out with a load of isopropyl alcohol and washed the keyboard unit out under the tap. 24 hours with it all in the airing cupboard put it back together and it started first time.
