Great little tourney in Sydney this weekend.
Not as big a deal as GM10 but fun none the less.Had terrible weather with solid soaking rain all day and night which culminated in a 40 minute ride home for me ending up on motorways. (iPhone and soaked glove don't mix!)
Had some good games with our throw-in team but the Sydney side teams were playing well.
Didn't get any more pics as it was so wet but will report on the next comp with more detail.
(And when we place higher!)Miss you LDN.

It's easy to be hypnotized by watching Corny riding.

A letter to the LPC.
Hope you are all well. Just thought I'd fill you in on polo down here of late.
I think some of you met a few of the Aus lot in Berlin. They said you were all nice. Who did they meet?!? Can't think. ;)
Tourney a few months ago...

Hi all.
Not had much time to keep this updated but thought I'd post as I have just found out at least 1 hand brake is compulsory at the AU nationals this year. Might mean I have to drill the sword but is this the same as EU/US rules these days?Might have to be less of a stubborn git and get maself a freewheel.
-
• #47
I think Chucker kicked up such a fuss at the compulsory brake rule it got thrown out of the NA's.
Funnily enough he now runs a front brake.
-
• #48
^^that's quite surprising since the adelaidians are usually the most vocal about draconian or deemed-to-be pointless rule mongering.
i think steve's justification was that he saw that the americans were doing it now.. but not sure if they have actually adopted it.
just drill the rear bridge perhaps?
but yes get a freewheel, plenty of time to get used to it before nats
