Me, intending, may head into BM early on and mosey about aimlessly if it's pleasant weather, if it's cold it'll be a quick squirt to the Rainbow to get in the warm, i'm a wuss like that.

So how does it work? Two riders race one-on-one, and then the winner goes through to next round and race someone else? Or do you just race once and the fastest times go through? I might come down for a bit, don't think I'll stay till 11 though (unless I'm on a massive winning streak which is highly unlikely).

open qualifying 'til 9pm(race your mates) top 16 men qualify and usually top 8 women to knockout rounds....

If time allows during qualifying you may be able to make more than one attempt.

what pedals are on the bikes ?

clips and straps, long cage, long straps to accomodate all, best shoes are recessed cleat type mtb shoes or trad cycling shoes......makes littel difference though, records can be set in trainers!

Because of having Monday, Tuesday and Friday off as Bank Holidays I have a shit load of work to finish. Don't finish work til 8pm, then i've got admin to sort out for the following week. I'll drop in though a little later though...

Bank Holidays are nothing but a pain in the ass.... I hate them.

I think you should set a qualifying time after work, then do your admin....qualifying usually runs 'til 9.
