Legs - shaved or au naturel?

If one shaves ones legs is there a convention on where it is sensible to stop?

Otherwise (using my legs as reference here) as the hair grows from ankle to crotch it would appear that (and I shudder to mention this) some sort of bikini line would need to be negotiated?

I'm not intending on putting this intelligence to use, just curious.

When I get waxed we go up to what I call the Speedo line ( I wear Speedo briefs when waxed).

When shaving I leave part of the inner thigh unshaven.. other than that it's all off..
