Thelythgoe, I'm sorry to hear about your stolen wheels, but since the bike itself wasn't stolen, I'm guessing that you used a good lock on the bike. Did you use one of the mini locks (Krytonite Fagh Mini or Magnum Plus Mini [Halfords]), and thats why it couldn't fit around the B43 and the frame? I'm trying to work out how it happened, as I too, only have one "good" lock.
