  • right then, it's time to unload your unwanted tweed
me and a mate are looking for tweed jackets, im around 5foot10 and he's about 6foot1, both really skinny. the cheaper the better really, we're both extremely poor.
    cheers in advance,
    joe

Whilst you have painted what is a surely charming picture of your friend and yourself, waifishly thin and (if seeking tweed) surely stylish too, the information given is insufficient.

Your height might be relevant when going on a fairground ride, or perhaps purchasing an adult sized babygrow, but for a jacket you need to provide your chest measurements in inches and some indication at least of whether you have normal, short or long arms in relation to that. If you have an existing jacket that really fits well, and it wasn't bespoke, then there will be a label inside the inner breast pocket with size details. If it was bespoke the label will say the date and the client, so you might try ringing him up and asking him how big he was then.
Or you could use a tape measure.
