Hi, thanks to everyone who bought the straps and met up on friday, really good to put faces to names : ) I will be dropping off some strapsthis Monday (25th April) if anyone would like some delivered.
The materials are chosen for their strength, in particular the herringbone weave strap is incredibly strong, but is also comfortable if you are wearing lightweight shoes. The straps that feed underneath the pedals are each 25mm wide, narrower webbing just doesn't have the same strength under stress. Everything is held together with tough, rot proof Barbour thread and sewn on an industrial machine.
I make bespoke cycling kit, and these pedal straps and the lock holsters are designed to be mid range kit at entry level prices.
If you would like some delivered on Monday its £12. for the plain black or featured graphics, if you have an image you would like pm and I can put it onto the straps, price is £15. per pair.I can also paypal and post. Cheers
