I also had a lot of trouble finding 45t in 144bcd, then I found that BMX was the answer, got a lovely Sugino BMX 1/8 ring. If that's any help. Actually I got two by mistake, if anyone wants a gold 45t chainring. That's gold coloured, it's not made of gold.
