Bike Anti-Porn - When Things Go Wrong

I'm not sure there's ever been a proportional relationship between money spent and aesthetics when it comes to bikes. Money has gone there on performance which clearly isn't the same thing.

The bike belongs to someone on the testers forum (I think), it's a vanity project that will barely be ridden so the money spent on performance is pretty meaningless.
