Are we still doing finger stories?
My mate confirmed the urban legend that some guy skating a pool in Australia bailed and caught his wedding ring in the gap between the coping, tearing his finger clean off but still attached by the tendon, which ripped through his skin down to the elbow. He got taken to hospital and the docs said they could either re-attach his finger and he'd have to have extensive physio to get the movement fully back, or they could remove it completely and he'd have to learn how to cope with one less finger.
"Just gimme the ring back and chuck the finger in the bin mate"
