an imagination trip is very cheap, and requires nothing more than a lucid mind ie no transport, no luggage, no money, no sodding credit card booking fee, go way beyond Europe no probs- and in your case, it will cope very nicely with the fact that you're coming back before you go.
I've drawn you a suggested route and itinery out on here:
If you can't see it then you need some help with the imagination- maybe a tap on the head, fall off a bike, etc
Bon voyage !

^nice route map there. But i don't think Cheesecake mentioned anything about an S&M fish and chip shop staffed by gorillas?

A quick spin in the alps/ pyrenees? :) driving there would be fun though... unless you have the cash to take the Eurostar. A forumger was offering Eurostar tickets last week to Paris. A shame you missed out!

I'm cycling Liverpool- Leeds and back this weekend. London to Dover is pretty much the same with no nasty pennines? Get the ferry for some cheap plonk and wobble back?
Right, I need somewhere to head for the weekend!
Cheapest way of getting somewhere in Europe please. Not too fussed where. Leaving Tuesday afternoon, returning before 08:30 on Tuesday Morning ;)
