Yesterday morning, through E&C, I saw a chap (young, glasses, red cap, almost a beard*)) on a black polo bike with Campagnolo sticker. Carrying three mallets.

Doesn't necessarily mean anything. I have two hoods but only one break; the left hood is still useful for grip, if I'm riding the hoods (which I mostly don't do, though).

Yo! Sorry for not stopping. Done about 60 miles today, solo, was running out of energy. The only thing, that I thought of was food, drink and shower. Now mission accomplished. :)
