Meeting in West Hampstead at 4.30, wont be time to go back to the office after. Shame.
Anyone about for an early beer in the sunshine?
-
• #17559
Maybe pre-swains...
-
• #17560
Beer is perfect Swains food. Hydration and carbs. Just the ticket.
Not sure about Swains laps anymore. I went for a ride at lunchtime without my bike. They call it "running". It's way overrated.

• #17561
Awesome news on the Tees! Can't wait to see the design. How,many are actually doing the Mayhem?
Will be up tonight, rather randomly with a ski jacket in my bag considering its a lovely hot day.
-
• #17562
And I shall be there to collect it - have a beer on me young man

I thought it was pronounced jogging or yogging, the 'J' maybe silent. Apparently you just run for an extended period of time...

Been in bed with the unutterable lurgy for 2 days. Most definitely not going near a bike today. Actually rather gutted.

Been out for a ride - Central London/ Hyde Park is full of idiots - Cabbies and School Holiday Mums are particularly irritating and vocal.Safest place to be is in a beer garden.
For that reason I will make a 5pm dart and have solar powered ale.

Just spoke to the printers and due to the massive # of bank holidays coming up we need this tomorrow night if possible to avoid paying rush printing fees.
Sorry to hassle y'all but it'll be worth it once done.

Thanks Mr Macca...
An early visit to the hill tonight - I might pass those doing "laps" - hopefully I'll see one or two of you.

Erm.
I'm sacking off the Swains repeats tonight. A fixed penalty charge waiting at home, the discovery that my heart rate monitor is now obsolete and I'm going to have to buy a new one, packing needs for going home tomorrow, excessive sweating on the ride home from work, dirty smelly kit, smelly bin I need to clean, too much meat for lunch leaving me with the meat sweat, realisation that my white Sidi's won't last more than a few weeks, general unhappiness with the world and all it's inhabitants, and a real need to drink without wearing lycra have all left me perturbed.
I will however be drinking so see you all up there.

Does anyone have a set of cheap brakes they want rid of that they can bring up the hill tonight? Just the levers. The final piece for my poor friends frankenbike

I've got a pair of Shimano R400s that can be had for the reasonable price of fuck all. Not up the hill tonight cos there's football on telly, but they're available for collection from Tufnell Park. Either that or I could bring em into work tomorrow if that's more convenient? Am on Rathbone Place, W1.
