Also available - a copy of the 'Pedal' book and DVD set on NYC messengers. £12 posted.

Also, just remembered, this is the XA3, not the XA2 - film speed settings have a bigger range (goes 1600 rather than 800 ISO) and the backlight feature of the original XA has been brought back.

I can't get the images to load at work, is that film 35mm or 120?
Incidentally, I've owned the PC35AF; the focusing is a bit hit or miss on some surfaces, but you can get some pretty nice shots with it. I don't think you could get a better 35mm camera for under a fiver.

It's 35mm, though I think I do also have a 5 roll box of the same in 120 if you were interested?
And about the Pentax, yeah, that's exactly what I found, except by hit and miss, I mean miss. Only miss.

Since posting, I've discovered I'm pretty much pennyless till the end of the month. If you don't mind though, I might drop you a PM on the 28th, see if you still have a few rolls.
With the Pentax, it seemed to struggle mostly with reflective surfaces. I guess it baffled the IR sensor. A good workaround if you're trying to shoot through glass or water or whatever is to just get your focus from a tree or a brick wall or something at the approximate distance from you that your subject is. You can just swing the camera back round and recompose, and the camera will have kept the focus. More indirect focus than auto, but I still really rate the camera for holiday snaps and such.

Ok. I wouldn't be surprised if it's still around then tbh. I mean, I'm not desperate to get rid of this stuff.
Haha, with mine it wasn't just reflective surfaces, but in fact any surface. I bought a mju ii and gave up.
Also subtle bump. And 50p off everything!

Dib on ** MKS large steel (I think) toe clips **
-
• #17
go on, I'll take the pentax. pm coming
Having been lured here by my incredible subliminal marketing techniques, here are the wares I'm peddling...
1. Olympus XA2 (it's the top one): great pocket 35mm camera. Only selling as I've bought a Mju ii...great camera, got a lot of good shots with it, and as far as I know, everything is working ok. Comes without the flash as I managed to break that on holiday (I'd had a lot to drink, not quite sure what happened to it tbh)...these seem to be going for anything between £5 and £20 on eBay, so all I'll be asking for is SOLD.
2. Pentax PC35AF (it's the bottom one): only marginally larger than the XA2, but with autofocus! This camera had it all...apart from the fact that it's actually pretty shit. Take your chances. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did. £4 posted.
3. The remains of a brick of Kodak Ektar 100. Bought when I grossly overestimated how much film I'd be using on a trip to Belgium (think I used 3 of the 10 rolls)...I now have no use for this film, as it's a bit slow for my general needs, and is too saturated for portraits. Lovely film for landscapes, architecture etc. though. Now retails for £3.70 a roll from 7dayshop (and that's with the bulk discount!) so asking £18 posted for the lot. Saves you a fiver. If no one wants it all, then I'll break it down.
4. The bike related part; MKS large steel (I think) toe clips (yes - they're NJS!!!!11111). Too much toe overlap on my current bike to use these...come with all the mounting bolts. Have a few scuffs where they've clipped the pavement and one of these scuffs has an ounce of rust in it. But hey, they're toe clips. Hubjub wants 12.25 posted for new ones, I'm asking for £8 posted.
Miscellaneous other items that I don't feel are deserving of a picture...
49mm diamater polarising filter: £1 + postage
Cokin 'P system' tobacco grad filter - make every photo a sunset!: £4 + postage (a tenner new!)
A powerball...no idea how much to even ask for this. Not a lot. If you're interested in this state of the art wrist strengthener then tell me.
Joby Gorillapod (the smallest one) - SOLD
Dibs --> PM if you want any of this stuff. Muchos gracias. More items will probably be added later on.
