  • sorry :( only been singlespeeding a year and fixed for 4 weeks...

    What fixed are you ridin'?

  • 1950 Claud Butler frame / forks with modern stuff added.

    Have a look here - http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142580

Dryish weather only though which means im going to have to convert my daily ride as well :)) as fixed has proved to be highly addictive!

  • Always happy to stop and talk bikes...im based just outside Nuneaton so tend to head northish into leicestershire..market bosworth etc. Ill let you know about Burton trip.

  • I live between Nuneaton & Cov.
Been to Hinckley no end of times on fixed.
Have done Leicester fixed, would Burton be doable fixed?

  • If youve done Leicester then Burton would be quite easy distance wise..one down side... any way into Burton from this side is a biggish downhill. I'll go in on the A50 across the old bridge. Its a big down hill with lights at the bottom. Not done it fixed. If youre brakeless have your soles lined with grey compound Kool stop :) but im only a newbie!!!

  • Burton (and Derby) very doable fixed. #homesick

  • where are you now?

  • Manchester, Derby still doable, but not fixed. BoT and Cov a bit too far really.

Why did you relocate, work related?
