I met Mia Sabel at the Tweed Run, I don't know if she had a gramophone but she's a saddler (leather worker) and could make you a nice one I'm sure. The materials and labour though would mean it wouldn't be cheap, although she's restoring a saddle bag for me for a very reasonable £25. I dropped it off this morning.

Has anyone ever attempted to make their own? The construction seems fairly simple?
