Has anyone ever attempted to make their own? The construction seems fairly simple?

there was someone at the tweed run who made them. Perhaps someone picked up her card (she was outside BGSC with a Gramophone.

I met Mia Sabel at the Tweed Run, I don't know if she had a gramophone but she's a saddler (leather worker) and could make you a nice one I'm sure. The materials and labour though would mean it wouldn't be cheap, although she's restoring a saddle bag for me for a very reasonable £25. I dropped it off this morning.
