I watched an interview with Peter Josef during which he mentioned that the inspiration for a lot of the concepts in the "Zietgiest Movement" were based on theories by a fella called Jacque Fresco, founder of the Venus Project... To be fair, Fresco does come across as a bit of a nutter.
