Fantastic pics... My memories of Mumbai (Bombay) in 1978 (holiday to Goa) was extreme poverty and hardship... I was 13 years old and every time the taxi from the airport to a friends apartment stopped at the traffic lights, children in groups kept approaching the taxi with their palms out begging for money. It just left me in tears and seeing children in the street all alone... unpleasant experience... a real first hand experience of real poverty and hardship...
