For Sale: VSF Fahrradmanufaktur T400 touring bike

Bought new in September last year from Bikefix in London and taken on a tour in South Africa and also in Wales, this bike has been an extremely good tourer - it's purpose is more of an expedition bike with its strength and weight having the capacity for heavy loads and rough roads. Since returning from SA in January I have taken the bike in for a full service with the chain, cassette and brake blocks replaced. I've added up the mileage and have done around 2-3k miles on it, so still relatively young.

Otherwise everything is in great running order - wheels true, Magura hydraulic brakes working amazing well, gears very smooth and the dynamo hub driving the front and rear lights working without any hiccups. If it weren't for the bit of paint rubbing on the right crank arm, it could still be in mint condition.

Valued at £1120 new and at £1250 with the extras I've added (including Shimano A530 pedals and a Tubus Tara Lowrider front rack to complement the Tubus Cargo rear rack). I've also fitted bar ends and a Rolls saddle. I'll also throw in a pair of brand new Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres (the Marathon Supremes already fitted still have a lot of mileage left in them too).

Selling the lot for £750 for collection in north London.

Reason for selling is that I'm building a light touring/audax bike and need the cash for parts! ;)

What size is it?

It's a 'medium'. I'm an average sized 5'10" and it's a perfect fit.

I could also do the bike for £650 and not include the Tubus lowrider and the extra Marathon set of tyres as these will sell for £60 and £40 seperately.
