Nevertheless that sounds like a terrible way to live. I have no idea how you coped. I would have ditched the career and got a job in a shop or something.
Its not the first time and it certainly wasnt my hardest. That was just me relating how my first job went cause i think you mentioned that last night.
So far, my worst was when i needed to qualify for my visa after not working for 10 months cause i was made redundant during the banking collapse. I needed to make a certain amount of cash per year and i had to hit that in 4 or 5 months.
Boss was nice and let me work about 76 hours per week (almost double the normal working week). 4 hours overtime most week days and full days over weekends.
I had to do it if i wanted to live in your country - both times.
