for a film with no demonstrable plot it was a solid 7 outa ten. uncomfortable to watch at times, felt a bit voyeuristic bearing in mind the over realised dialogue and cinematography - refreshing alternative to the usual rom - com shite tho.

I was expected pure indi romantic clichés. In fact I really liked it, quite impressive considering a lot of it was improv and it really got under your skin especially if you'd been in that situation before...I recently had. wahhh. Gosling is a legend and the soundtrack was great - Penny and the Quarters for gods sake!
