For all you wiper snappers who think Lynx cycles is a joke, here is some info;
Lynx cycles Stafford are bikes built by Charlie Betteley for personal costumers, he was the frame builder for Henry Burtons Stafford and Poyner's Wolverhampton for many years. I have a very nice 531 lynx bike from the late 70's fully campag equipped. Charlie started competing in the late 1940's and still rides today at the age of 90. He is a very talented and experienced frame builder and was the first independent frame builder to use reynolds 753.
His bikes are classic British light weight frames, so however buys this one is getting good pedigree and a wicked bike (great colour scheme) for cheap. Plus, they are rare one offs. You don't see many Lynx on the roads. I'd buy it my self if it was the right size and if I could justify another bike.
1r151-1 I'd be tempted to keep it mate, your giving it away at that price.

This is going to user Wingedangel pending payment.
Hope you're all enjoying the weekend.
The Guy I bought it from said he thought it might be Columbus based on the SABA (quality Italian) bottom bracket shell (see pictures). There's nothing else to support this though and no other decals on the frame for clues. The frame is not super light but not heavy, I'd expect it to be plain gauge tubing.
I've added more photos to show the quality cable routing over the top of the BB shell and the long pointy lug work. You can also see on the BB is printed L0243.
This is a nicely (handmade?) frame with a great quality feel to it. At the price, a good buy.
Also have not said before, seat tube = 27.2mm and bottom bracket is standard 24TPI, all threading is fine. Couple of light chips and scuffs here and there as you would expect with any light usage.
