Steel track ends bolted to a steel frame? Why not just weld stainless steel plates straight to the stays, rather than going through a convoluted process which is really only needed when the main frame material is too soft to tolerate repeated track nut abuse?

So much typing... maybe he just liked the look of it, or he has a drop out that can take a rear mech that he swaps out?

Why does it need carbon fibre gussets? when its just a steel bike? Surely the weight versus aerodynamics is an issue? Not that anyone cares except you!
