Think I may have started early? Good group though. Chainbreaker did I see you for a bit? I was wearing a longsleeved yellow/blue GT jersey?

Great ride!
Another epic blast by 6pt - lapped the slacker group before we'd done 5 laps. Slow group did 20.3 mph rolling average so god knows what he did.

Little more savage than usual. Think it was the aero bars that did it. Turns out that bike isn't slow, I just haven't got on top of the gear for a while. Fun and games. Got my fastest lap time ever, twice (6:40) and an average on par with the end of summer last year. Bodes well. Plus it would appear that everyone else is getting quicker too, which is heartening.

The lap I caught you broke me with all those bastard traffic lights, too much stopping and starting. Lost the 24mph and couldn't get it back; finished at 23.8.

That was a great ride, and thanks to 6pt for towing me around for so much of it! (I was in the red top, btw.)
Quick q, though: when did you start/stop your timer? I made the mistake of starting mine as we were rolling out of the inner circle, which I think must have lowered the average speed I recorded. I stopped it on (what I think was) the 8th lap (there were about 22 miles on the clock) by the turning into Yorks Bridge, just as you were (I think) pulling away from the lights with the guy in the Rollapaluza kit, with an average of 22.5mph. But it sounds like if I hadn't started it on the Inner circle it would have been >23. Oh well, will know for next time.

Ah I couldn't figure out whether you were on here or just your standard park interloper. Wasn't really paying attention. Totally not bothering with the tri-bars next time so I can get some legitimate wheelsucking going on.
I always start at the lights at the top of the hill, Gloucester Gate I think (and finish there too, obvs, gives you a drag to really bury yourself with at the end). It was pausing at traffic lights (dishonest but whatever, no point going for a rolling average with that unpredictability). 22 miles = 8 laps :)
I heard it whispered that we had been graced by a flying visit from the BMMF fairy. Didn't see him though.

Much of the hour was spent gratefully hanging onto whoever happened to be passing.
I eventually settled into a group for the last few laps; though I would have liked to have contributed more to it than my legs permitted.
Still, a nice pace (No Garmin, no data), and suitably tired pins. I also arrived with cobwebs and left without.
Circles complete, I decided on one or two hills before tea. Around Highgate was a chap on a jolly smart CXR IndyFab bike. We nattered for a bit, while "One or two" became "Seven or eight".
I met my girlfriend en route to home, who gave me a bottle of Pepsi.
Top evening, and most unexpected.

...a flying visit from the BMMF fairy.
It was a manifestation of guilt from my earlier age-related wisecrack, remaining visible just long enough for reality to be checked before disappearing in front of me.

Really enjoyed riding with you guys tonight. Going to have to tweak my setup a bit/HTFU and see if I can't make it through the whole hour without my back giving out next week!

I was on my way from work to Marylebone Station. Did a couple of laps, half of one dragging Friday's trio around. Legs definitely leaden from the aforementioned lifting of the dead last night.
Enjoyed a relatively traffic-free 30 miles in the Chilterns tonight :)

Who is the chap that rides a fixed Guerciotti? He was the only fella I recognised. (I think!)
Met up with an older (but FAST) chap that I've ridden around with a few times in a blue strip with yellow cross on, think he races at Redbridge. Anyway we caught up with a larger group and carried on round until 7.30 ish.
Legs a bit tired today.

Well, that was fun. Did two laps before I turned into a human snot ball and went home. Sometimes it is better to admit you're ill and not HTFU. I think I definitely feel worse for that :(
