Do the hoops 'spin up effortlessly' as well? And does it 'manage not to get skittish on descents' despite the beefy chainstays?

joking aside i don't have much experience of riding 'aero' wheels but what impressed me was riding into a head/cross wind and how much easier it was to hold the speed.
the bike was part of a group test with 4 other bikes (others from french belgian and english brands). the article has not been written yet but it wouldn't surprise me if the fuji came out on top*
it's a very good bike, apart from the saddle/white post it's hard to fault it.*disclaimer. it's not me writing the article, i didn't ride the other bikes.

The more aero stuff is, the more I feel the bike would be a shite load faster, without me on it.
'Reassuring front end' is my favourate hyperbole.

To be honest, I was actually bidding on one of the gold Fuji' frameset's the team road on in last years TDF. Just before xmas. Would have been a great buy, and an excuse to use gold bartape.

Looks like Scott rebabdged a Venge.
-
• #1191
Wasn't it a Scott in that picture of the chap snapping the stearer tube in the pack?
-
• #1192
No idea. I've seen most bike brands snapped at some stage. Depends what you hit them with innit.

Looks like Scott rebabdged a Venge.
Scott had this bike on the road 10 months before Speccy had the Venge at this years MSR

Just don't drop this one.
It comes back today. I'm not sure I'll be able to look at it.
I'm v. sad :(
-
• #1197
I still can't believe it didn't stand up to some light maltreatment. And the manufacturer wouldn't own up to this being shit.
I'm sad too. It means you have an valid excuse not to come riding with me on Sunday.

I was very impressed with the quality for £1k. Change the tires and you're good to go...
