Not sure I understand what you are asking but the jist of your question is to do with the distance between the dropouts for the rear wheel. Some geared hubs are 120mm which is compatible with a fixed wheel or single speed bike and others are 130/135mm which are compatible with multi-geared road or mountain bikes.
Although it is possible to adapt the hub or frame to suit, it would be easier to find hubs that match you frame's dropout width.
