  • In bed, recovering from crash earlier this week. I watch so little tv, I am not sure what is worthwhile at the moment.

Any suggestions as to some good entertainment?

Have now watched all of Twenty Twelve which quite amused me.

  • Bob's Burgers on 4oD, best thing on TV atm imo.

  • Dr Brian Cook, Mega Mysteries of the Universes (or something)

  • Campus on 4od is pretty amusing as is friday night dinner also on 4od. very jewish humor

  • I'd say go to www.seesaw.com and avail yourself of all the Louis Theroux and Young Ones and Bottom you can handle. It's been working for me this last few weeks.

  • Dan Snow's BBC documentaries on London sewage should suit your tone of language!
Go to project tv and watch Curb from season 1 onwards?

    • 1vote for Curb. Been meaning to re-watch all of them from the start. Is there a new series due out soon?

Wow didn't know this existed, now I just need to crash.

  • Can you still get The Daily Show on 4OD? Its worth a watch.

  • Glory daze

    this.

  • Jim Al-khalili's Everything and Nothing on BBC4 (iplayer) is awesome. Anything with him presenting is good actually.

    I usually just go:

iplayer - categories - factual - science and nature, and then pick something.

But then I am a huge nerd so...

  • I wish I could watch Human Planet some more.
Bastard BBC taking it off iPlayer.

  • try these -

THE BULLSHITTERS - funny Comic Strip Presents parody of The Professionals..

CHRIS PETIT'S 'CONTENT' - 'ambient 21st Century road movie' - whatever that is...

  • I've been enjoying twenty twelve of late:

totally agree, mentioned i had rinsed 20 12 in the op

  • Sorry DJ, am meant to be doing MA work, so browsing threads is a full collapse of self discipline. I neglected to read carefully, opting to skim, as if to kid myself that I won't be on for long. Have already posted in three different threads though.

  • PS, get well soon.

  • Having caught a random episode of Spaced on TV recently I revisited both series back to back on Youtube TV Shows whilst at 'work' last week.

  • The Inbetweeners on 4OD. Just watched all 3 series and laughed out loud a lot. Very crude. You can watch 4 OD on YouTube.

  • 4oD have both series of The Italian Kitchen archived, as well as Nigel Slater's Real Rood.

Both really inspiring low-key series, pre-Heston/Jamie fireworks.

  • Enjoyed watching 'The boat that Guy Built' on iplayer

  • I loved the inbetweeners
    Such perfect awkwardness
Nigel slater is possibly my favourite food writer better in print than on screen. I like the way he suggests lots of adaptations to recipes

  • Sadly first episodes of bobs burgers no longer on e4 but have watched quite a few since it was suggested.

  • I enjoy Grand Designs a lot.
