  • If he'd stuck to a stationary bike in the first place none of this would have happened.

  • Aww but then I'd never have got to meet all you lovely people!

I don't think work would have been best pleased either, commuting at 0mph would take a while.

  • The doc has given me the go ahead to ride again. Woop! Going to talk to my physio tommorow, and then give it a go. I've got flat pedals ready to fit to one or the other of my bikes. I haven't properly checked the condition of my Solo, the bike I was on when I was hit - the rear wheel's slightly out but there's no other obvious damage.

    Walking without crutches now too.

  • Great news

  • awesome!

  • well what the fuck are you waiting for? lazy swine

    ;)

  • Physios have given me the goahead, and my private sports physio in fact wants me riding hard out of the saddle to get my calves back in shape, which the ride from Sidcup to Bromley on 72" ought to manage in my current condition. Solo is at the LBS having the wheel trued, should be able to take it out for a ride later this week :)

  • :)

    gettin back on!

  • Finally got out on the bike today for a pootle around the mean streets of Sidcup - just in time for it to start raining for about the second time in 3 months. I haven't lost as much fitness as I feared, from that perspective the bigest problem is that I can't comfortably pedal out of the saddle.

Might to take a while to get confident in real traffic again though. We'll see.
