I have for sale a Trace Elliot AH300-7 bass amp and a matching 1818 speaker cabinet. It's a bloody amazing, huge-sounding, dragon-slaying setup.
I bought it seven years ago so I could go touring with my then band but I went to university instead (I'm still not sure if that was a good idea or not). As such, this head and cab have sat at my parents' house virtually unused for the entire time I've had them, unfortunately, and are therefore in immaculate condition. It sounds great and has been gigged with only once.
Amongst bass players the amplifier 'head' is very highly thought of. It gives the warm, punchy tone that Trace Elliot were/are famous for. Its spec is as follows:
solid-state (as opposed to valve)
300w+ output
7-band equaliser
active and passive inputs
pre-shape 'sub' setting
dual-band compression
backlight
£250
The cabinet has a single specifically designed (for Trace Elliot) 18" Celestion speaker. It has a massive, deep sound without being boomy or uncontrolled. It has an impedance of 8 ohms, though I've forgotten what that means to be honest. It's ideally suited to bass-heavy stuff, like the dub we used to play. Spec:
loud as fuck
£150
They work excellently together but could equally by coupled with other similarly powered heads/cabinets. They are both covered in Trace's trademark dark green carpet, which is unspoiled and bobble free. Collection only (from Gerrards Cross - easily got to from London by car or train) if anyone's interested, unless you want to arrange for a courier to pick it up at your own expense. Dibs and PM please.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
Just as a longshot before I pop this on the 'Bay:
