Greetings folks,
I wanted to cobble a little post together to say what an absolutely brilliant day it was on Sunday!!!
I had a great time and found I got my tactics just right - set off early with a bunch of riders, get dropped, tag along with another group, get dropped, tag along etc etc... reach the finish - thanks to those who got me through the central and east bits.
On reflection I can say that I didn't enjoy the cobbles, but found the hills alright. Beaten by Mount Canobie, but got up all the others.
Massive big ups to all the organisers, Brixton Cycles and all riders who did this...
To top the day off I won the last prize in the raffle - a pair of tyres which went to the lovely Digger as they will fit his bikes.
50 miles completed and a great day on bikes in sunny Babylon-don.
This was a top quality ride folks put it your diaries for next year...
Peace and Love,
Tim
