I spotted jenny j and cafewanda London Classic'ing it up too! And joe smiff by all accounts.
Also saw hoefla in the pub at the end of the day too but wasn't completely sure it was here and didn't want to potentially shame myself!
Sure there were plenty of other LFGSS types there too but I don't really know many faces currently!

nice chatting to you if you are on here dude - and like i said this morning, beautiful, beautiful ride.I might be selling my 09 FP2 frameset soon...I'll PM you when I am if you like...won't be asking much for it.

I was daydreaming (of what, I cannot remember) in the ASL at Waterloo Place this morning when a distinguished (I didn't actually say grey-haired, did I?) gent on a Felt rolled up next to me and greeted me. Very copacetic to see you again Jonny.

A courier riding some sort of folding bike shouting 'do a skid' as I was exchanging details with another cyclist who'd just knocked me off on margery street. Would have obliged if I'd still been atop the bike.

Guy on sort of teal coloured track bike with red chris king headset and front disk brake, in in Broadway market yesterday. Very nice build, amazing frame, that he said he built himself. Said he was a metal worker then rode off before I had a chance to ask him to build me one... or teach me all he knows. Who is this welding god, anyone know?

Did he look like this?

No disc brake and not teal or the other bits you mention. He is quite tall, though, and he built his bike himself.

nice little roll with NNY up of some of kingsway this morning. great to see you.
spotting the double polo disks jolted me out of my reverie about nearing the top of a famous climb and riding really close to the spectators. something about going round the corner off aldwych into kingsway and leaning into the left hand curb and the pedestrians always does that for me. as you were
