  • nice little roll with NNY up of some of kingsway this morning. great to see you.

spotting the double polo disks jolted me out of my reverie about nearing the top of a famous climb and riding really close to the spectators. something about going round the corner off aldwych into kingsway and leaning into the left hand curb and the pedestrians always does that for me. as you were

  • I spotted jenny j and cafewanda London Classic'ing it up too! And joe smiff by all accounts.

Also saw hoefla in the pub at the end of the day too but wasn't completely sure it was here and didn't want to potentially shame myself!

Sure there were plenty of other LFGSS types there too but I don't really know many faces currently!

  • had a lovely chat with a dulwich paragon-er on a BEAUTIFUL carbon pinarello roadbike (think it was an 08/09 FP2) this morning up drury lane - total roadie, but something about him (probably his glasses - thick rims a la wayfarer) suggested he might be on this forum...
nice chatting to you if you are on here dude - and like i said this morning, beautiful, beautiful ride.

I might be selling my 09 FP2 frameset soon...I'll PM you when I am if you like...won't be asking much for it.

  • went for a run at lunch in a vest and shorts in beaming sunshine.
rode home in a waterproof jacket and shoe covers in a mini downpour.

  • double disc wow on highbury new park this morning around half 8. Bag stuffed full of polo mallets

  • Jimbilly shaped blur on Clapham Road this morning. He was past before I'd fully twigged who it was. Not hanging about....

  • I was daydreaming (of what, I cannot remember) in the ASL at Waterloo Place this morning when a distinguished (I didn't actually say grey-haired, did I?) gent on a Felt rolled up next to me and greeted me. Very copacetic to see you again Jonny.

  • good to see you paul. i was commuting a little earlier than the norm this morn so nice to see some different faces. will look out for you on the 80s mtb, sounds interesting.

fussballclub on kingsway on the way home last night. easy dude

  • A courier riding some sort of folding bike shouting 'do a skid' as I was exchanging details with another cyclist who'd just knocked me off on margery street. Would have obliged if I'd still been atop the bike.

  • Olympian, Fatima Whitbread in the M&S service station on the A127 this morning

Surprisingly short but still had a dodgy lesbians barnet

  • Guy on sort of teal coloured track bike with red chris king headset and front disk brake, in in Broadway market yesterday. Very nice build, amazing frame, that he said he built himself. Said he was a metal worker then rode off before I had a chance to ask him to build me one... or teach me all he knows. Who is this welding god, anyone know?

  • ^think it was fillet brazed.

  • Teal sounds like the Wilkinson - ridden by a quite a tall dude?

  • Andypancake outside the whitechapel gallery RIGHT NOW. This is livespotting folks.

  • follow him and see what he does next.

  • with any luck he'll give birth to a live lamb.

    Did he look like this?

No disc brake and not teal or the other bits you mention. He is quite tall, though, and he built his bike himself.

  • I will FUCK AND KILL anyone who says that bike isn't teal.

  • Some people would pay good money for that
