I have a Crumpler that I love. It's been battered and abused all over the place for years and there's nothing wrong with it.

Or he could just be asking local people in Norwich, as this is in the Norwich forum. Perhaps he wants to see some up close?

No worries.
As for bags, I have a ltd addition howies timbuk2 bag (Identical design to a medium timbuk 2), really hard wearing (2 years use and 2 pretty big spills and still going strong), very waterproof (commuting in Edinburgh and no issues). Can be a bit loose and swingy if it ain't quite full with something. You definately need the shoulder pad if your doing anything with a bit of distance. There is no back padding so you have to pack accordingly and I could prob do with a slightly bigger bag but that's just personal. Got mine on sale so was a bargain and very happy with it. Mate of mine got an old bag off a posty, absolutely huge and he loves it so that is an option, will require some work to make it bike friendly, mainly just a x strap mind -

Yeah I like the Howies bag (I'm friends with a few of the guys there), but wanted something a bit more plain... either way, finding £90 for a bag isn't gonna happen soon.

Sorry but they're fucking hideous, are they anything to do with you seeing as you've posted about them in every region specific messenger bag thread on this forum?
1 post in 2 years and now 3 in 20minutes.... -

Just trying to bridge the gap between glasgow and london man. There aren't enough messenger bag companies actually based in the UK, so im just spreading the word a bit. Sorry for any offence.

After wearing my BRP Violet Hip Pouch now for a couple of weeks i would never use or need alot more space. The messenger bags Scott is coming out with are true genius, in black only and the fuckin shit! £340 may be steep, but u get what ya pay for! Black Rainbow Project til def!
Anyone recommend any decent makes / models?
