  • fairly much equivalent prices to the fixie skidders favourite "hate" brand

  • You're off the hook now, DJ.

  • What, Tørm?

    Ducks and runs

  • awesome copy - "Recognized worldwide as the King of sock brands, Pantherella remain possibly the hosiery world’s best kept secret!"

so are they recognised or secret?

  • We all recognize ninjas, and they are very secret.

    Ninja socks?

  • It's just like my socks - you can't see them, but you can smell them.

  • Check you out with such phrases as 'supper'.

    Who's the perfumed ponce now?

    Eh?

    Eh?

    Eh?

I originally said dinner but changed it so all the southern fairies would know what I was talking about ;)

  • Haha - brilliant observation!

In all seriousness, this looks quite good.

    Features:

    100% Italian Merino wool.
    No internal seams.
    Reinforced thumb hole cuffs.
    Buttoned rear pocket.

pistis favourite scarf variation that one.

  • Has anyone ordered anything?

  • Not at those prices tbh.

  • There's quite few people with disposable incomes on here and I hope they will provide us with a review.

  • There was a review on RCUK a while ago.

any company that has the cheek to ask the best part of 70 notes for a t-shirt, i'll happily give that a miss..

  • Hi EEI, love the thread!!!
Think we've got away lightly at the minute! Very funny though.
The models are friends of ours, so they've had quite a bit of stick!
You've had some kind words for us, so how about we send you something for you to review?

  • I think you're lovely too.

  • Who me, or our gear!?

Because they all share one bike? ;)

  • Who me, or our gear!?

    All of the above.

    freeeeeeeeeebbbbbbbbbbbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssss

You seem to have accidentally linked to a thread about cycling jerseys, not t-shirts?

  • I think velobici are awesome too, review stuff in black, large please... PM me for an address... BTW EEI only wears Rapha, this is a very carefully Rapha-planned ruse...

    Honest...

  • I actually like the look of turtlenecks.

I'd be tempted to acquire one, but after a whole winter of sitting on a sofa and watching telly this garment wouldn't do any justice to my unsporty figure.

  • And those caps also need some mentioning. Nice retro cut. Price wise on par with Waltz and Rapha, but similar Swrve would be slightly cheaper.
The winter version is nicer and perhaps more worth the money. The rest depends on detail like used fabrics, cut and a quality of stitching.
The best ever hat (and the most expensive one) I own is that Rapha+Paul Smith polka dot affair. What a marvelous finish! And it's spalsh resistant.

As for the reviews, I'd feel biased if I reviewed something I haven't paid for (I'm easily swayed).

  • Totally understand,
It was for more of a thank you really.
As a new company, just to have people discussing your products is a big plus (Good and bad!).

  • We rip all the startups apart on here, but it's good to have the multiple choice, so we don't look all like clones. The more the merrier.
Our only hope is that fierce competition will bring better quality clothing and not the opposite.

It's not all about the price - people are willing to pay more (but not an absurd amount) for functional and aesthetically pleasing clothing which is made well and lasts longer.
Sometimes is better to pay once and wear something through the whole season than pay a very little and see the thing fall apart after a couple of outings.

From what I see, your clothing range is more suitable for people who commute on their bikes to the office and simply want to look stylish, but also comfy. God bless you, even it's not to everyone's liking.

If I was you, I'd read threads about Rapha and Torm on this forum, if you're prepared to sieve though the drivel, funnies and all the piss take. You will get the gest of what - at least some - people are after in cycle related clothing and perhaps how to avoid traps of douchebaggery (ie. Paul Smith's washbags).

  • So, as I'm a massive douche, I've received my "VB Classic T".
To be honest, I'm positively surprised. It's really well made, very soft and meaty in touch, stretchy Suplex, well cut. I love it, because it makes me look fit and it wicks the sweat well.
It's not gimpy tight which helps with beer bellies, but the sleeves are fitted which helps if your arms are wimpy.

Looks and feels right with Rapha trousers.

I will be definitely getting a merino top for Autumn. Chris confirmed, that all their garment is made in the UK and the company itself is located in Leicestershire famous for its knitwear. If only the models on their website looked like they ride bikes themselves...
