Strange, when I were a lad funny bikes were ridable with a Cinelli 1A, they didn't need yards of scaffolding to join the bars to the steerer.
We've definitely been here before, many many times; if you use the proper bars and stem, riding a funny bike is exactly the same as riding a normal bike on the drops.
