I'll second that.. I would've believed you if you said it came straight from the wrapper to photograph.. The rubber line on the seam of the tire isn't even worn!

Like it!!!!
Batavus and Gazelle are my Dutch favorit marks.
SOLD, SOLD, SOLD
Stunning example of a Batavus Professional, Hollands biggest rival to the Gazelle Champion Mondial and easily on par.
Size is 57cm x 56cm (ct x cc). At 5'11" it fits me perfectly.
Paint is a beautiful metalic blue with very few marks on it, although it is about 25 years olds so does have a few nicks here and there. There are also 4 tiny, tiny dents on the seatstays which were probably caused by a saddle bag rack or something, hardly notice and are obviously not anything to be concerned about (took pics but don't know if you'll be able to see them, I can send you high res pics if you like)
The groupset is a complete 1st Gen Campagnolo Athena which is in great condition with just a little rubbing on the rear brake (probably from the same thing that dented the stays) and a tiny amount of rust on the usual places on the brakes.
I have sourced those tiny little inserts in the brake levers and got some new plugs for the top of the levers too. I've also mounted a brand new Turbo saddle. Front tyre is pretty much new, rear is ok.
Runs beautifully the only thing I would like to mention is that the chain can float between gears. This isn't a problem and as you get used to where the friction gears are you'll flick straight in no problem. As I said not a problem at all but just mentioned it for the sake of honesty.
I'd like £450 posted (within UK)
