Those Honda's are very nice. You should definitely buy one, seem much more reasonably priced than all of the Vespa bikes out there.

Haven't got my full licence yet, but for £500 maybe I could SORN it and tinker/clean/refurbish one in anticipation. Reckon he'd be OK with helping out? What could I do to say thanks? Cash/booze?

Well cross that bridge when we come to it, I'm sure he could be persuaded for some beers, loves these sorts of bloke projects. Failing that we'll just rent a van from Enterprise for £45 and drive it down there. Spalding isn't exactly far.

If anyone is looking for either a full 1" carbon threadless fork or a 1" threaded Cougar track fork, both with around 230mm of steerer, and both fucking lovely let me know. Will be back in Norfolk for easter weekend. And will try to make a Friday ride, now that my sister lives in Norwich!

A friend is looking to get himself a fixed, budget is £100 but he's not expecting much for it. Anyone have suitable frame/forks/other important parts kicking about for sale on the cheap?

If my beater comes back from Nelly in one piece (highly unlikely, unless cars are banished from Norfolk) then that would be up for sale. He would probably want the cranks/wheels/etc and replace the frame, but it would be cheep cheep.

I think that would be ideal for him, let me know if it makes it back to you in one piece. Beaters are just gateway drugs that lead to custom frames anyway.

I had a couple of parts nicked off my bike whilst popping into a shop for 5 minutes (!) so I'm after a 7 speed cassette (Shimano HG50 or similar) and a triple crankset with square taper in good condition.

Was actually more of a pub (Golden Star or Colegate) - I popped in to meet some friend, and i bought a drink before realizing no-one had turned up! By the time i downed my drink (5 minutes) and i just missed the rear wheel being stolen... sometimes this is the way things 'roll', if you pardon the pun ;p

Anyone know the shop in Norwich, they sell stuff on ebay, but not sure if you can buy from them in the city. After some new slick 26" tyres for polo bike, and theres are real cheap like!
