Yeah, it doesn't need to be chromed. Polish it up with Autosol.

Cheers Kips. I've managed to get some GB bars and stem on ebay proper cheap like. Might still be up for a very pretty stem though.

English threaded BB, or a proper vintage BB? I think I've a bunch of old TDC cups knocking around and various cottered axles. I've also got a very nice fluted Williams cottered 46t crankset.
I need all the following for a 1953 BSA frame;
Chrome Quilled stem, Drop Handlebars to be cut for bullhorns , English BB and cranks.
