This has bugged me:
Has anyone else seen the slightly crusty dude in Streatham and it's environs who rides a geared bike, with no shoes or socks on? Pedal cages, no socks. I saw him last week and he only had shorts on. Bombing down Streatham high road.I thought Pisti had moved to north London

I met (camped next to) Joff at Knutsford last year. Awesome chap. One of five Penny riders I know in London, and the only chap I know who makes the machines. I want one. No idea if I could ever ride one, but I do want one.

About 8:15 this morning - heading north on Farringdon Rd right where it passes the station and the hordes of gapers shuffle across the road ignoring traffic a geared rider in SKY kit eschewed the usual "Move CUUUUNTS" and hollered "Whoop Whoop - it's the sound of da police"
Hilarious, and it worked. Well done sir.

Did someone in a white van DAS me near Kennington Park this morning? It sounded a bit strangled, kind of vaguely menacing...

Each time I've ridden in in the last couple of days I see a guy on a fillet brazed 14 with no clips and straps and wearing flip flops. Always on OKR as well. Silly bugger.
Slightly chubby, maybe Asian? See him often on Blackfriars if so.

This morning on Uxbridge road, lovely young man on a Bob J, also the only other Villiers owner I have ever met. Was it Alex? (yodasm9)(I'm not really awake at that point in the morning)
Well met sir, I don't often see any friendly forumengers on my commute anymoreAye, that was me - good to have a quick chat, sorry I was in a rush.
Likewise, never met another Villiers "client" though there was a really nice one that was reviewed on bikeradar with curly chainstays!

Dude with a black LCEF cap heading north past green lanes McDo at 0945, then at just-before-1, dude with a grey front spok shadowing me along seven sisters/isledon road. and stopping behind me at traffic lights. and not saying hi, despite my wearing of forum headwear. ho hum.
I think that 'dude' was me. I have no idea what you or most of the other people on here look like but I will be going the same way tomorrow morning so if you see me, give me a saucy wink.
