I cycle to work (5-6 mile round trip at the moment) 4-5 times a week.
On top of that I'll run 3-4 miles maybe 3 times a week.
I also do rugby training twice a week and cycle to/from that (about 8 mile round trip).
Up until this time of year I'll often be found chasing an egg shaped ball for 80 minutes on a saturday.
I'm fairly active and have some fitness goals to work towards, which is why I run on top of the necessary (work) and the hobby (rugby).
From experience, routines can get boring and changing things up is often a good way of pushing yourself and keeping it fresh.
I spend no money on my fitness*.
