@ theoryswine like it, big chainring, what cog?. @ fixedwheelnut, good use of random scottie dog garden furniture.
Thanks. 50T Dura Ace ring, 16T freewheel. Like a big gear. May run it fixed soon enough though.

Not sure about the fork, but love the colour
not sure about it matching, or the shape/carbonness?

nice one. how much did they charge?
Just got this back from Argos Cycles after 9 months of both me and them faffing around not getting it done.
It's a Condor Pista EOM 2006, i bought it here on the forum.
they've filled a small ding, removed the cable guides from the top tube, and filled the back brake bridge. The fork is a deda blackforce, that's also been painted ( obviously).
I'm very pleased with how it's come out - it's 99.9% how i specced it. It's the first bike i've had painted, and it's come out so much better than i hoped.

I was going to say that they've a good reputation for quality but are a tad pricey.
I like it a lot, lovely colour.

yes, it was the extras like the filling and bits that added up, plus the white panels etc.
you can do a respray job a lot cheaper with them if you sacrifice detail...the colour is a variation on Condors 'mackeson purple'. i loved the ltd edition 'diamante' frame they did a few years ago.

Hopefully it won't crack...
indeed - although it's a 2006 vintage, before the issues started to appear, and is a different tube set to the standard pistas...

I found him to be pretty unhelpful and rude.
One of the decals I had off him ended up being a nightmare to clearcoat. It was a "H = hand finished" headbadge and it couldnt be used with acrylic clearcoat. The downtube ones seemed ok thoI'm half with you on this, although his list does say what finish is req for each decal. I restored my SBDU track frame using his decals and Mercian for the paint.
I tried to be helpful by emailing him a full list (with pics of what I wanted) and he did try to help me out to a point, although it hardly made any sense! Still I can't fault the decals, absolutely spot on. -

He even offered to re-draw one of the missing decals! Everything was ace quality as well.

Finally found a 46 gangsta frame. Original orange fork wasn't in great condition so I used a black fork which I had. I'm going to fix the fork and try the original orange setup.

That look bloody awesome, off road touring?

Isn't that the third Gangsta you've had? It's really nice.

Thanks, yes I sold the black 40, it was too small for me. V2 is now more beater with cromo cranks 42-19 gearing etc., used for polo.

That looks boring man*.... needs at least 2 racks, non-matching wheels, a bell (or2), some fucking lights all around. Then, yes.
*Not really ;)

So what will it transformed into? a lawnmower?
-
• #43120
edscoble- I'm guessing that questions aimed at me?, well I plan on riding across denmark in the summer for a few days and just wanted something kind of do it all that I can use for practical and fun uses. The inbred is perfect, I even took it around brockwell park bmx track yesterday evening and it felt right at home.

ah damn it I mean your previous question...

A Facking good lawnmower.

Yes it is, look like a great choice, all I can says is that you may find yourself needing bar end, staying on one hand position during a long ride can get pretty uncomfortable.
Check out the Schwalbe Extreme tyres, they're possibly the best touring tyres out there, good for a mixture of on and off road.
-
• #43124
yeah I intend on changing the bar set up and of course tyres, I was going to search for opinions on touring tyres so you've read my mind on that one. I'll check them out, thanks!
